List of Foods to avoid if you are gluten free and suffer from certain health conditions.

List of Foods to avoid if you are gluten free and suffer from certain health conditions.

Are you suffering from major health issues like diabetes and thyroid while being gluten sensitive? This could be a tough call as there are limitations to your eating habits which you should know of and even consult a professional doctor who is knowledgeable about both. Let us give you an overview on what to avoid if you are going through these conditions-

Diabetic and Gluten Free

If you’re gluten-free and diabetic, it’s crucial to avoid foods high in refined sugars and carbohydrates. Steer clear of wheat-based products like regular bread, pasta, and most baked goods. Opt for whole, unprocessed foods like vegetables, lean proteins, and gluten-free grains such as quinoa or rice to help manage blood sugar levels. Always check labels for hidden gluten and be mindful of added sugars in packaged foods.

Thyroid and Gluten free

If you’re gluten-free and have thyroid issues, consider avoiding cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage as they may interfere with thyroid function. Additionally, limit soy products and goitrogenic foods, such as millet and certain fruits like strawberries and peaches. Always consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian for personalized advice based on your specific thyroid condition.Try out our products at Sprinng foods, available Pan India.
